As the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO), we are committed to preparing our companies for the ongoing global transformation. In line with this vision, we have implemented
more than 60 macro-level projects aimed at fostering value-added production and exports, technological innovation, and skilled employment—making a significant contribution to the economic
development of our city.

One of our top priorities is to enhance the global competitiveness of our member companies. We view clustering as a strategic tool to boost production and exports, with a strong focus on
strengthening our city’s capacity in medium – and high – tech manufacturing.

With this perspective, we support our SMEs—who we regard as the driving force behind value-added exports—through cluster-based activities. As the institution with the highest number of UR-GE projects in Türkiye, we are proud to launch a new UR-GE initiative aimed at strengthening the global competitiveness and export potential of companies in the die-mold, modelling, and casting sectors—the very backbone of the manufacturing industry.

With the support of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Trade and a collaborative, cluster-based approach, 47 companies have come together under this project to pursue shared goals, explore new
markets, and remain at the forefront of industry innovation.

Through comprehensive needs assessments, tailored training and consultancy, international marketing activities, buyer delegations, and promotional events, we aim to significantly enhance the
international competitiveness of our companies.

We firmly believe that this project will create substantial value for Türkiye’s industrial development. We extend our best wishes to all cluster members for a successful collaboration based on unity and shared purpose.
