Formak was established in 1995 as a Turkish-German joint venture and has since secured its position
among automotive suppliers under the name Formak Formkalıp & Makine Sanayi Ticaret Ltd. Şti.
Through its international connections, the company made high-tech investments to provide quality
service right after its establishment and strengthened its position in the rapidly changing competitive
environment.In 2003, Formak moved to the NOSAB industrial zone, where it manufactures body and
interior trim parts’ sheet metal forming dies and part prototypes using CNC milling, wire erosion,
radial drilling, lathes, 2D-5D laser sheet cutting machines, and a full die shop. The company also
manufactures and assembles custom transport-washing bins, fixtures, apparatuses, transport carts,
and part shipping bins tailored to its customers’ specific requirements.After acquiring full local
ownership by taking over the German stake in 2013, Formak continues its operations with a 100%
domestic capital structure. It holds an ISO 9001:2015 quality certification and strives to offer services
that meet customer satisfaction by utilizing modern technology, machine park, and specialized
computer equipment to fulfill customer needs at the highest level.
